{Things to do Thursday}

Thursdays I have my "helper" (as the people at wal-mart refer to her when she's not with me) Kourtney comes over and we get my grocery shopping done for the week, she plays with the boys while I get stuff done around the house and many many other things to help me out. :)

Our Things to Do today are:

• Go to the library and pick up / drop off books
• Grocery shopping... boo.
• Wonderscope for a few hours, we got a membership so we are going to test it out today and see how the boys do. 

Oh yesterday we had our first ice cream sandwich, if any of you were at the boys birthday party and you remember how unimpressed the boys were with eating cake (they acted like they do it all the time...)  that's how they were with the ice cream.

Here is my most recent project attempt....
(I haven't actually finished a whole project in months... Sorry Heather I know I haven't finished your hats yet... :( .... )

Kid's Toy Hammock {Pattern Here}  This seems like a fairly easy project to get going, I've made a shawl in a similar fashion before. Our current stuffed animal hangout (a basket) just isn't working for mommy... they keep dumping it out just because it's fun...

We will see how long it takes me to finish this... I have a really huge project I want to do for my self this summer so I need to finish all these other little ones first.

Here is the yarn I'm using, just some random yarn I had laying around that needs to be used.  Not sure how fantastic it will look with their pirate decor but it will be covered in toys. 

The boys really like to take pictures with me on my phone, here are some from our recent photo shoot.

{Feeling better}

After a very very long Sunday I am very pleased to report that everyone is feeling better. Joshua got food poisoning on Saturday. Wyatt threw up in his car seat on Saturday afternoon and I was puking sunday, all from different causes. We are all better now.

Joshua is fixing the screen door and we are getting ready to cook out with our neighbors. Looking forward to a good evening. :)

{Crafty}

HUNGER GAMES SHIRTS! 

I thought it would be so fun to go to The Hunger Games with matching shirts, and of course we have to make them ourselves! We have had several failed t shirts attempts in the past and we decided to try the glue & dye method seen HERE. I think it turned out pretty well the front says "May the odds be ever in your favor" and the back says "12" 

Here is a picture of the finished product! It turned out pretty well!

This is our new family blog, I was a little tired of having to sign out from one google account and sign back in with my other account each time that I wanted to blog...which was getting to be quite rare... so here we go again. :)

I don't really have a lot to say at the moment. My guys are all asleep (including Daddy, who I might add is a saint. I have no idea how he can get W to sleep so fast!

I have a craft project in the works at the moment, a bunch of crochet projects (what's new) & I'm growing a human. When I have something to update about any of that I'll be back.
